Tumblr has been sued by porn publisher Perfect 10 for violating its copyright. In a lawsuit Perfect 10 claims that Tumblr re-published their pictures.
Perfect 10 also alleges that Tumblr employees posted nude pictures “to help start the business” and that “Tumblr turns a blind eye” to copyright infringement on its servers.
In 2006 Perfect 10 sued Google for using thumbnail images while indexing its content for the Google search engine.

The website of porn giant Digital Playground was recently hacked, and thousands of user’s credit cards were stolen. The hacker collective called The Consortium claimed responsibility for the intrusion.
The Consortium claimed that 40,000 credit cards were taken from Digital Playground’s website, as well as personal information for 72,000 users.
Luxembourg-based Manwin owns Digital Playground.
Video game maker Valve is set to release a new game console, Steam Box, that will take on Microsoft’s Xbox and Sony’s Playstation according to reports. Valve, creators of the Half-Life, Portal, and Left 4 Dead series has never been involved in the console world before.
Steam Box would reportedly use Valve’s online gaming store, Steam, to power the console – which could be connected to a television or computer monitor.
