Giffords: Time Is Now To Act On Guns
In stirring testimony to the U.S. Senate, former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords called for action on gun violence.
Speaking to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Giffords testified that “You must act — be bold, be courageous. Americans are counting on you.”
Giffords also noted, “Too many children are dying… too many children. We must do something. It will be hard, but the time is now.”
