NRA Ad Aims At Obama Daughters

A new ad from the National Rifle Association attacks President Obama and his daughters.

The NRA’s ad describes the President as an “elitist hypocrite” for having his daughters Sasha and Malia under Secret Service protection.

The group, who opposes any laws reducing gun violence, asks “Are the president’s kids more important than yours?” because Obama is “skeptical about putting armed security in our schools, when his kids are protected by armed guards at their school.”

What the NRA ad fails to mention is that as the children of the President, the Obama children are high value targets for international terrorists, rogue nations, and other criminals.

The ad comes a day before President Obama and Vice President Biden are scheduled to reveal a comprehensive plan to reduce gun violence in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre where 26 innocent children were murdered with an assault weapon.

Recent polls from Pew, Gallup, and The Washington Post show majority support for many of the gun violence prevention measures floated by the administration. These include an assault weapons ban and limitations on gun magazine capacity.
