iPhone 5

The iPhone 5 may be less of a success than initially expected.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple has cut orders for iPhone 5 parts, “due to weaker-than-expected demand” according to “people familiar with the situation.”

The paper reports that orders for iPhone 5 screens covering January to March sales are half of what had been expected.

Sales of Android-based phones from companies like Samsung appear to be contributing to Apple’s sales woes.
