X-Men #1

The newest X-Men comic book doesn’t have any men at all.

A new X-Men comic features an all-woman team for the first time in the franchise’s history.

X-Men #1 from writer Brian Wood and artist Olivier Coipel unites existing characters Jubilee, Storm, Rogue, Kitty Pryde, Rachel Grey and Psylocke.

In an interview with USA Today, Wood said, “If you look at the entire world as a whole, it’s the females that really dominate and are the most interesting and cool to look at. When you have a great artist drawing them, they look so amazing and always have.”

The new comic will be released in April.
