CW Casting New “Wonder Woman”

The CW is looking for a new Wonder Woman to star in an upcoming TV show.
IGN reports that the series, Amazon will focus on a young Diana Prince before she becomes Wonder Woman.
The series will be written by Allan Heinberg, a TV and comic book writer.
CW president Mark Pedowitz compared the upcoming series to Smallville, which explored the life of a young Superman for 10 seasons.
Arrow, based on the Green Arrow comics, is one of The CW’s most watched new series.
A pilot episode of a Wonder Woman TV show by David E. Kelley was made for NBC starring Adrianne Palicki, but a full series was not ordered.
