Canadian Teacher Mary Gowans Acquitted Of Sex Assault

Mary Gowans, the Canadian teacher accused of having a sexual affair with a student, has been acquitted.
Ontario Superior Court Justice John McMahon said that Gowans showed “poor judgement” by getting so close to the student, even if she didn’t sexually assault him.
Gowans was accused of baring her breasts to the student and encouraging him to touch them while he babysat her children. Her marriage imploded after the allegations were made public.
