Federal Reserve Announces QE3 Stimulus
The Federal Reserve has had enough of the sluggish U.S. economy.
The Federal Reserve today announced an open-ended quantitative easing program designed to jumpstart hiring in the country. The Fed will buy $40 billion worth of mortgages each month to shore up the real estate market.
In response, the Dow Jones average increased by nearly 60 points.
