One World Trade Center

Americans are stopping today to remember the victims of the 9/11/2001 terror attacks.

Eleven years ago today, nearly 3,000 civilians were killed in co-ordinated attacks in New York City, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. The World Trade Center building in New York was destroyed and the Pentagon attacked.

The U.S. invasion of Afghanistan has severely retarded Al Qaeda’s ability to plot and execute attacks while Navy Seal Team Six executed Osama Bin Laden in his Pakistan compound.

The new One World Trade Center is expected to conclude construction and open in 2014.
