Bill ClintonPresident Obama is sending former President Bill Clinton to Florida to campaign for his re-election.

The two-term President who wowed millions with his defense of Obama’s first term during the Democratic Convention will be a major weapon in the Sunshine State.

Clinton will appear in Miami and Orlando as part of the Obama team’s effort to win Florida in back-to-back elections. In 2008, Obama won Florida by over 240,000 votes against John McCain.

There are no scenarios in which Romney can earn the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency without winning in Florida.

Former President George W. Bush, who has endorsed Romney, did not appear at the Republican Convention. Bush is not expected to do any campaign events for the Republican nominee. When he left office, Bush had one of the lowest approval ratings in modern history.
