CW Working On Wonder Woman TV Series

Tori Black - Wonder WomanThe CW is taking a stab at creating a TV series based on DC Comics’ Wonder Woman character.

Working under the title Amazon, the series will reportedly focus on Wonder Woman in her younger years, a formula the network succesfully used on the series Smallville with Superman.

Grey’s Anatomy writer Allan Heinberg is working on the new series.

NBC made a pilot for a Wonder Woman series from writer David E. Kelley, but the show never aired.

Arrow, based on the DC Comics Green Arrow character, will appear on The CW this fall.
