Report: Scientology Boss Ran Girlfriend Hunt For Tom Cruise

Leaders in the church of Scientology ran a campaign to find a girlfriend for celebrity member Tom Cruise, according to a new report from Vanity Fair.

The magazine reports that actresses who were members of the secretive group were brought in under the guise of an audition, then asked odd questions about the Mission: Impossible star. A Scientology insider tells the magazine that he has seen the Tom Cruise girlfriend audition tapes.

One woman, Nazanin Boniadi, was reportedly picked by the church to get together with Cruise. After several awkward incidents the relationship ended.
