USA Lands Rover On Mars
America’s space program had another triumph as the Curiosity rover was successfully landed on Mars.
NASA scientists and engineers applauded after the robot emissary touched down and transmitted images from the surface of the red planet. Space enthusiasts from around the world have hailed the landmark achievement as America once again pioneers space travel.
After the 1:32am EST achievement, John Grunsfeld, Associate Administrator for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate, proclaimed: “This feat that you saw tonight is something that only the United States of America can do. And the rover is made in the USA.”
