Vanessa Hudgens has joined the cast of Robert Rodriguez’s Machete sequel.

A notice on the star’s website announced: “Yes, it is true! We can confirm that Vanessa will be in the new Robert Rodriguez movie Machete Kills as Cereza!”
Other stars appearing in the action sequel: Lady Gaga, Sofia Vergara, Alexa Vega, Amber Heard, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Carlie Sheen, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Edward James Olmos.
