Lauren Kornacki: Real-Life Supergirl Lifts Car, Saves Father’s Life
A Virginia woman saved her father’s life by lifting a car crushing him in a tale straight out of the comic books.
Lauren Kornacki, a 22 year old from Glen Allen, Virginia, found her dad unconscious and underneath the BMW 525i he was working on in the family’s garage. After screaming to her mother to call 9-1-1 the heroic young woman moved the ton and a half car off of her father.
She told a local news station: “I just lifted up kind of right here and just kind of threw it, shoved my body as hard as I could then I came back and dragged him out and started CPR.”
Lauren’s quick thinking saved her father’s life. He is in the intensive care unit of the hospital but is walking and talking.
