Sunburn Is Tanning Bed Threat For Co-Eds

A new study finds that college-age women are at high risk for sunburn when they use tanning beds.

Researchers at New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, East Tennessee State University, Pennsylvania State University and Northwestern University studied 198 female students with a mean ag of 19.

They found that 66% of the women reported at least one case of sunburn related to indoor tanning, while 50% reported sunburn twice.
