Michel Morganella: Soccer Player Kicked Out Of Olympics For Racist Tweet

Michel Morganella, a soccer player for Switzerland, has been expelled from the Olympics for a racist tweet.

Morganella apparently made an offensive comment about South Koreans after Swiss team lost to them 2-1 on Saturday. The text of Morganella’s tweet was: “I want to beat up all South Koreans! Bunch of mentally handicapped retards! (“Je les tous Defonce Coréens, allez vous tous Bruler, bande de trisos”)”

He is the second athlete to be banned from the games for a racist tweet. Greek triple jumper Voula Papachristou was removed from the games after making a joke about African immigrants.
