A navy man gets down on one knee to propose to his partner in a picture that may soon be mundane.

Taken during the San Diego Pride event last weekend, the picture shows a member of the U.S. Navy offering an engagement ring to his partner.

In 2011, the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy which prohibited gay and lesbian members of the U.S. military from serving openly, was repealed by President Obama.
