Chris Rock & Kerry WashingtonComedian Chris Rock believes in the near future, tv news will be indistinguishable from pornography.

Speaking at the 2012 Television Critic’s Association conference, Rock told the audience that “the news is a TV show. They need ratings. And in our lifetime, we will see boobs on the news.”

In 2011, Fox News boss Roger Ailes told the Associated Press that, “I hired Sarah Palin because she was hot and got ratings.” Fox News Vice President Bill Shine said, “One of Roger’s ideas is you watch TV with the sound down, If that screen or that person on that screen is so compelling that you want to put the sound up, that show or that person is doing something right.”

Rock also said that if he did another tv show, it would be similar to Louis C.K.’s critically acclaimed Louie. John Landgraf, president of the FX network said Rock had an open invitation to do a show like that on his network.
