Porn Stars Swarm Twitter

Porn stars are using Twitter to get around the mainstream media’s fear of the sex business.

According to Dan Miller, managing editor of adult trade publication XBiz, “the adult industry has embraced Twitter as a way to reach out directly to fans beyond the typical porn consumer.” He tells CNN that he believes that 90% of porn stars are on Twitter.

Just this week porn star Riley Steele used her Twitter platform to announce her retirement from the XXX world.

Alexander Raymond Palumbo of adult studio Digital Playground describes Twitter as “an instant focus group” for the industry.
