Jenny McCarthy Disease: How A Celebrity Helped Cause An Epidemic

America is in the middle of its worst whooping cough epidemic in 50 years.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that nearly 18,000 cases have been reported so far this year, twice the amount as last year.
Nine babies have died so far this year from the preventable ailment.
The center is calling for mass vaccination of adults, particularly those who are around children. They also advice pregnant women to get vaccinated, in order to protect the unborn.
Celebrities like former Playboy pinup and comedian Jenny McCarthy have pushed quack science which insists — despite mountains of contrary evidence — that vaccines cause autism. This has caused gullible parents to put their children at risk as they refuse life-saving vaccines.
