Carra Crouch, 19, alleges that when she was 13 she was raped by an employee of Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). In her lawsuit Crouch, the granddaughter of the network’s founders, claims that her family hid the crime despite California laws requiring clergy to report sexual assaults.

Crouch alleges that Jan Crouch — her grandmother — told her that the incident in which she was plied with alcohol and rape was her fault. TBN was founded by Jan and Paul Crouch in 1973.

The network denied the incident in a statement to the Orange County Register.

The lawsuit claims that after the rape, TBN fired the employee responsible.

According to previous reports, both Jan and Paul Crouch make six figure salaries from the network.
