Venice Beach Bodybuilders Fear Google

The big and buff bodybuilders of Venice Beach, CA are afraid of the geeks at Google.

The New York Times reports widespread fear among Venice Beach bodybuilders that Google is poised to kick them out of Gold’s Gym as the tech giant continues to grow. Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger describes the fears as a “conspiracy theory” but that doesn’t appear to assuage the men and women sculpting their bodies to perfection.

One bodybuilder describes the possibility of Google moving in to the neighborhood at the expense of the gym as “the ultimate revenge of the nerds.”
