Female Prison Employee Charged With Rape

Kasey McDonald, a 37 year old case manager at Joseph Harp Correctional Center in Lexington, Oklahoma, has been charged with rape after she had sex with a 24 year old male inmate.

McDonald is accused of multiple sexual encounters with the inmate, bringing a cellphone into the prison, and smuggling marijuana behind bars. Audio recorded by the mother of another inmate will be used as evidence against McDonald.
The inmate told investigators he and McDonald had sex 30-40 times, sometimes in her office or the one adjacent to hers.
Oklahoma laws say that sex with an inmate is considered rape, even if it is consensual.
