Scantily Clad Women Protest In New York City
A dozen scantily clad women joined together for a protest outside city hall in New York City.
The women were attacking a bill that would penalize cab drivers for participating in human trafficking. The women said that the law would stop drivers from picking up women dressed in short skirts or spiked heels, clothing that many of them — bartenders and shot girls — wear to work.
One bartender told the AP that “They don’t even know who is a prostitute or not.”
The bill is expected to be signed soon by Mayor Mike Bloomberg.
