Linda McMahon, wife of WWE founder Vince McMahon and the CEO of the company was attacked in a U.S. Senate debate for WWE’s sexual content.

McMahon, who unsuccessfully ran for the Senate in 2010, was attacked by fellow Republican Christopher Shays. Shays, who served in the U.S. House, compared McMahon to Playboy boss Hugh Hefner.

“I don’t want Hugh Hefner being [in the Senate], I don’t want Linda McMahon being there,” he said during a Republican debate on Wednesday night.

Shays, who trails McMahon ahead of the August 14 primary, also criticized McMahon for being part of the GOP’s “war on women.” “”I think when you force a woman to take off all her clothes in an arena and get down on the ground and bark like a dog, I think that’s assault on women,” he said.
