New Tomb Raider Game Features Attempted Rape

The next edition of the hit Tomb Raider series delves into darker, more mature themes — including an attempted rape.

Executive producer Ron Rosenberg told gaming site Kotaku that a segment of the game involves island scavengers who will attempt to rape Lara Croft, the lead character.

He told the site, “She is literally turned into a cornered animal .. It’s a huge step in her evolution: she’s forced to either fight back or die.”

Rosenberg claims that the scene isn’t just to shock for shock’s sake.
