Chad Ochocinco was cut Thursday by the New England Patriots, now reports indicate he couldn’t understand the playbook.

The high profile receiver, who hasn’t had a season with over 1,000 receptions since 2009, reportedly had trouble dealing with the offense playbook designed by coordinator Josh McDaniels and was out of sync with star quarterback Tom Brady.

Ochocinco, who played last season with the Patriots after 10 years with the Cincinnati Bengals, only received for 276 yards last year.

Brady recently told the press: “If everyone is not on the same page, then it doesn’t work.”
