Lucky Duckies: 6 Tax Filers Paid No Taxes On $202 Million

6 of America’s 400 richest tax filers didn’t pay a dime on their 2009 tax returns. CNN Money reports that IRS data shows the tax dodgers made $202.4 million, but paid no federal income taxes.

A tax expert says it is likely that the filers escaped Uncle Sam by putting their money in foreign businesses or by taking deductions for charitable contributions.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has come under fire for putting some of his millions in offshore tax havens, and not releasing past tax returns as other previous candidates — including his father — have done.
