Model Maria Fowler In Racism Controversy

British pinup model Maria Fowler is in hot water after it was revealed she used a racist phrase. Over the weekend a british tabloid recorded Fowler outside a club in Liverpool, England. In her conversation, Fowler said, “How am I a racist? I banged a half-breed last week.”

After the comment was revealed, Fowler issued a statement: “I did not realize (and now fully regret) is that the term ‘half breed’ is seen by some, as derogatory it is a word that has openly been used by my peers through my life.”

“I am not a racist and deeply sorry for any offense that may have been caused.”
