Despite conservative attacks, President Obama’s support among the Jewish community continues to rise. A new poll from the American Jewish Committee finds that 61% of American Jews back the president, compared to 38% support for Mitt Romney.
58% of those surveyed in the poll also support Obama’s policies towards Israel and the Middle East.
Obama is up 12% over AJC’s previous poll in September of 2011 that showed 50% support of Obama.
