Avengers Racks Up Big Global Box Office

The Avengers are dominating the global box office, before the comic book blockbuster is even released in America.

So far The Avengers has brought in $178.4 million in its first week of release in 39 countries. The movie, released by Marvel Comics owner Disney, has done well in Mexico, Brazil, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.

Avengers is expected to quickly top $150 million in its U.S. release.
