Yuval Diskin, the former head of Israel’s internal Shin Bet security agency, is speaking out against that country’s leaders.
In an interview on Israel Radio, Diskin said that “I have no faith in the prime minister, nor in the defense minister.”
Diskin claimed that he “[doesn't] have faith in a leadership that makes decisions out of messianic feelings.”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak have both made dire warnings about the prospect of Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon.
In his interview Diskin said Netanyahu was not someone he could “trust to be able to lead Israel into an event on such a scale.”
