Ted Nugent Dropped From Army Concert At Fort Knox

Conservative rocker Ted Nugent has been dropped from a military concert after he made incendiary remarks about President Obama.

Ted NugentNugent told an NRA audience, referring to Obama and the Democrats, that “[w]e need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November.”

An announcement on the Fort Knox base’s Facebook page indicates: “After learning of opening act Ted Nugent’s recent public comments about the president of the United States, Fort Knox leadership decided to cancel his performance on the installation.”

Nugent was scheduled to perform at the base as part of the “Midwest Rock n’ Roll Express” tour.

The Secret Service brought Nugent in for a meeting after his comments. Nugent has endorsed Mitt Romney for president.
