California Hate Crime? Iraqi Woman Beaten To Death Tire Iron, Told To Go Home

Shaima Alawadi, a 32 year old mother of five, was beaten with a tire iron in her El Cajon, CA home and left with a note that reportedly said, “go back to your own country. You’re a terrorist.”

Alawadi was found in the home unconcious by her 17 year old daughter.

Alawadi’s husband worked as a private contractor training U.S. soldiers in Iraq.

UPDATE: Ms. Alawadi died from her injuries on Saturday night.
