NBC Renews “Smash” For 2nd Season

Cast Of NBC's Smash

NBC has renewed its musical drama, Smash, for a second season. While the show hasn’t been a huge boost to the struggling network, it has been one of the peacock’s best performing programs.

The ratings for the time slot are up 11%, and Smash is one of the only NBC shows creating a buzz besides The Voice.
