2 Male Nurses Kill At Least 16 Patients In Uruguay

Two male nurses in Uruguay confessed to the murders of 16 of their patients. The nurses, aged 39 and 46 claim they wanted to end the “suffering” of their victims.
A female nurse, who was dating one of the men, was also arrested for assisting in covering up their crimes.
A local newspaper said the death toll from the two men could be as high as 50.
The lawyer for one of the nurses claims his client’s actions were “mercy” killings.
