Obama Giving Commencement At Barnard As GOP War On Women Heats Up
President Obama will give the commencement address at Barnard College, a women-only institution, it was announced today. Obama’s speech has added significance as the rhetoric in the conservative “war on women” has heated up.
Recent comments by conservative leader and radio host Rush Limbaugh describing student Sandra Fluke as a “slut” after she testified to congress about contraception have been rebuked by the White House and several lawmakers.
