Emma Watson: Reporters Asked If I Was A Lesbian After I Cut My Hair

Actress Emma Watson cut her hair after completeing the Harry Potter series, but had no idea the rumors it would start about her sexuality.

In an interview with the UK Independent newspaper, Watson explained: “I had journalists asking me if this meant I was coming out, if I was a lesbian now.”

She said the firestorm over her hairstyle made her realize “how subjective everyone’s opinion is.”

At the end of the day, Watson said, “all I can do is follow my instincts because I’ll never please everyone.”
