A fundraising email from the Republican party may raise eyebrows after asking supporters to “knock out” President Obama.
Headlined “Deliver a Knock-Out Punch to the Campaigner In Chief,” the appeal tells readers “You can deliver a big blow to the Campaigner In Chief today!” It also invokes disgraced Bush aide Karl Rove, noting “he asks us to help deliver a knock out punch by donating to the RNC.”
The email also depicts the Obama logo with a slash marked across it, telling supporters to “help contribute a knock-out punch” to the Obama campaign.
