Joanne Léger-Legault (PHOTO): Canadian Teacher Had Multiple Affairs With Students

Joanne Léger-Legault, a high school teacher in Ottawa, Canada, has lost her license to teach after it was revealed she had multiple sexual affairs with students.

Léger-Legault admitted to officials that she had been sexually intimate with two students and had kissed another on the lips. She taught at A.Y. Jackson Secondary School and Merivale High School.

Her license had been stripped in September 2011, but the penalties have just been revealed today.

The report from the Ontario College Of Teachers said: “The member failed to maintain the standards of the profession, committed acts that would be regarded by members as disgraceful, dishonourable or unprofessional and engaged in conduct unbecoming a member.” [CBC]
