Cops: Connecticut Cannibal Tyree Smith Ate Axe Murder Victim’s Brain

Connecticut police say Tyree Smith killed Angel Gonzalez with an axe, then proceeded to eat a portion of the victim’s brain and his eye. Smith’s mad act concluded at the grave of his brother.

One of Smith’s relatives told cops he confessed to the mutilation and cannibalism after an incoherent rant about Greek gods.

Smith’s victim had offered the man shelter from the cold, and was murdered for his good deed. Smith is currently being held on $1 million bond. [AP]
