Condom Law Could Chase Porn Industry Out Of Los Angeles

Dylan RyderThe porn industry may leave its home in Los Angeles in protest of new rules making the use of condoms mandatory.

The Los Angeles city council voted 9-1 in favor of the new regulations, in response to HIV outbreaks within the industry.

Christian Mann, general manager of porn producer Evil Angel told the Associated Press that, “You can’t actually compel an industry to create a product that the market doesn’t want” and that his and other companies would probably react by abandoning Los Angeles. [AP]
