Watch what you say around babies, they could be reading your lips.
According to a new study, babies begin reading lips of those around them at around 6 months old. Scientists at Florida Atlantic University found that babies look at mouths in order to decipher how to duplicate the sounds they hear.
The lip reading only lasts for a short amount of time, with babies shifting back to eye contact by their first birthday. [AP]
