Jon Stewart - SOPAJon Stewart will reportedly comment on SOPA, the controversial legislation that could break the Internet, on his show tonight.

According to an audience member of his January 11 show, Stewart was asked about the legislation and why his show hasn’t covered it yet. Stewart remarked that election coverage has been tying up his staff’s time, but he would look into it. He also mentioned SOPA during the opening remarks of the program set to air at 11pm tonight.

A recent report found that MSNBC, Fox News, ABC, CBS, and NBC have all ignored SOPA, which would allow copyright holders unprecedented powers to shut down what they deem as offensive or disruptive websites.
