On the campaign trail for his father, Mitt Romney’s son Matt is promoting the racist birther conspiracy theory about President Obama.

Speaking to voters in New Hampshire, Matt Romney responded to a question about why Mitt Romney is hiding his tax returns by saying, “as soon as President Obama releases his grades and birth certificate and sort of a long list of things then maybe he’d do it.”

President Obama has of course already released his birth certificate, a document ratified by the U.S. congress. [Think Progress]
