Apple Design Boss Jonathan Ive To Be Knighted

Jonathan Ive (aka Jony Ive), the designer behind Apple’s iPod and iPad will be knighted by Queen Elizabeth.
In a press release, the Queen announced that “Jonathan (Jony) Ive has been appointed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II a Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE).”
The release explained that Ive was being honored for his “services to design and enterprise.”
