Woman Claims Victoria’s Secret Told Her “All Black People Steal”
Yolanda Lee of Washington, DC, claims a manager at an Annapolis, Maryland, Victoria’s Secret told her that “all black people steal.” Lee was leaving the store at the Westfield Annapolis shopping center and an employee mockingly thanked the family for not stealing any merchandise. According to Lee, when the employee was confronted for her statement, the family was told that “all black people steal.”
Victoria’s Secret parent company said, “We are investigating the situation and will take appropriate action.” [NBC Washington]
