60% Of Californians Tell Governor To Tax The Rich

60% of the respondents to a poll support California Governor Jerry Brown’s proposal to raise taxes on the state’s wealthiest residents. Brown plans to take the money the tax hike will bring in and distribute it to California’s schools. The survey, conducted by the Public Policy Institute of California, found that only 36% of likely voters opposed the measure.
