Gingrich Damages U.S. Diplomacy With Palestinian Bashing

Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich damaged American attempts at diplomacy in the Middle East with his recent comments attacking Palestinians. Appearing on the Jewish Channel, Gingrich referred to “the invented Palestinian people.” The disgraced former speaker of the House’s comments have been condemned by Saeb Erekat, an advisor to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, as “despicable” and “the lowest point of thinking anyone can reach.”
